Nestled above a bustling pub, the hotel is conveniently located just a 10-15 minute walk from the train station. While the late evening stroll through the town felt slightly daunting, the warm hospitality offered upon arrival quickly overshadowed any initial apprehension. Our room was aptly sized for a solo traveler, complete with essential amenities like free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. The electric kettle allowed for a comforting cup of tea after a long day, while complimentary toiletries and adequate storage added to the overall convenience. Despite being above the pub, noise levels were surprisingly manageable, with only the occasional squawking of seagulls interrupting the calm—a reminder of the vibrant life outside. For those seeking affordable accommodation without sacrificing the essentials, the Black Swan presents a pragmatic choice, perfectly balancing comfort and cost.
